The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Luke 10:2
To use evidence-based medicine to provide hope and healing to God's children in low-resource areas of Honduras while also offering an avenue for sharing the gospel of Christ to the spiritually unreached.
For every Honduran to have access to a united, sustainable, and gospel-promoting Healthcare Ministries.
As part of our commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare, we prioritize well-child check-ups to ensure each child's growth and development stays on track. Twice a year, we serve around 250 children from communities such as Buena Vista, Pacayal, and Zaragoza. During these check-ups, we offer vision and dental screenings, growth assessments, and health education tailored to each child's needs. For example, our recent initiative led to identifying and addressing vision and dental issues in 40% of the children screened! These efforts not only improve individual health but also raise awareness in the community about the importance of regular check-ups. Together, we are building a healthier future for our children!

The Mission House serves as a sanctuary for those who are deeply involved in the mission work of Harvest Honduras. In the demanding, hands-on environment of community service, whether it’s through providing aid, education, or ministry, those who are on the frontlines of the work can quickly become fatigued, both physically and spiritually. The Mission House is designed to be a refuge—a place where missionaries, volunteers, and community members can step away from the daily grind, slow down, and recharge.
This space is not just a place to rest, but also a place to reflect, pray, and reconnect with their core mission. The importance of prayer and reflection is deeply woven into the fabric of the work being done in the community. Here, individuals can find a moment of stillness to realign their hearts, gain perspective, and renew their sense of purpose, allowing them to return to their service with restored energy and clarity.
The Mission House doesn’t only offer rest in the physical sense; it’s also a space for emotional and spiritual healing. The rhythm of life in the Mission House is intentionally designed to facilitate both personal solitude and communal connection. Time is set aside for individual quiet reflection and prayer, while also fostering moments of shared fellowship where stories, experiences, and insights from the community work are exchanged. This helps to nurture a strong sense of unity among those involved, reinforcing that the mission is a collective effort, and reminding everyone of the deeper purpose that binds them together.
Whether through a quiet moment alone or a communal meal shared with others who understand the challenges and rewards of mission work, the Mission House becomes a place where individuals are renewed in their faith and energized for the next phase of their work. It’s where they can refuel spiritually, emotionally, and physically to ensure they can continue serving others in the best way possible.
By being rooted in prayer, reflection, rest, and community, The Mission House plays an essential role in ensuring that Harvest Honduras can continue to serve the local community effectively and with compassion. It reminds those involved that to serve others well, they must also care for themselves—body, mind, and spirit.
